Multitudes of opportunities await visitors to Medford. Recreation & cultural facilities, nature preserves, historical landmarks, antique shops, family fun facilities, fine restaurants and accommodations abound. Medford also hosts an array of special events throughout the year, drawing thousands from the Delaware Valley to the township.
The National Geographic's Guide to Small Town Escapes sums it up best: Medford.....Pine garlands and twinkling white lights provide a Victorian touch to tiny Medford in early December, when the whole township crowds Main Street for the annual Dickens celebration. A cool northerly wind sends aloft the sweet aroma of steaming apple cider and cinnamon, as bundled up revelers, carolers, and characters from "A Christmas Carol", and musicians alike greet familiar faces, of which there are so many. For that's the kind of place Medford is; a friendly tight knit community where everyone knows everyone. National Geographic Books, Guide To Small Town Escapes. April 2000.

The village offers Colonial and Victorian styles, while the surrounding developments offer more traditional homes on large lots. There are several apartment and townhouse communities that have something in every price range.
