Hi there, I’m Dave Herdeg, and I was born on the Fourth of July in Gowanda, New York which is about 25 miles south of Buffalo. “Brrrrr”
I graduated from Deerfield Academy in Deerfield Mass. and spent one year at Colgate University. After which, I took some summer courses at The University of Buffalo.
I then went on to spend two years at “Carson Newman” a small Baptist college in eastern Tenn. During those two years I took a number of summer courses at the University Of Chattanooga. This led up to another two years at the University of Pennsylvania, “Wharton School”.
I spent four years in the Air Force where I learned to speak some Russian, and was stationed for some of that time in Bavaria. While in Bavaria, my job was monitoring satellite communications from a string of bases that extended from Norway to Turkey. These bases were in Eastern Block countries that included Poland, East Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, The Check Republic, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Romania. The hi-light of my time stationed in Europe was the birth of my daughter.
After the Air Force I spent eleven years in the banking field in western New York. I relocated to New Jersey in 1967 and joined John Hancock.
The past five years it has been my pleasure to match real estate buyers with sellers. As a “Senior Real Estate Specialist” I would like to be your Real Estate Professional!
I enjoy community service work through The Junior Chamber of Commerce, Red Cross, SCORE, Juvenile Justice, Contact, and playing soft ball, and family activities.
